This is an apron that belonged to an aunt. Apparently
her aunt made it for her when my aunt got married, in 1973. This great-aunt of mine , and her sister, are legendary for their creative abilities, they sewed, they painted, and more.
I love this apron, with its' blue gingham, ricrac galore, and the lovely braid.

I would love to use it, but my aunt's waist seems to have been a lot smaller than mine.
And how do I know when my aunt got married?

Well, I was there.
