New Cushions and a Thrifted Table

A new colour for our living room.

It makes the hydrangea cushion sing!

A thrifted table completes the picture.

I bought this with the plan of painting it,
(the top is a bit stained)

but at the moment I'm enjoying the contrast

of the rough/soft grey-white canvas

and the dark wood.

What do you think?

  2. Hi Ruthykins,
Yes that's my feeling at the moment, although the top has some marks on it, I'm loving it...thanks for visiting again.

  3. Your living room looks so inviting! I love your new table, and a contrast is nice. But if the top is bad, what about painting the base and the very top (inside the "frame") in your pretty blue -- and leaving the top "frame" in the stained wood? That would give contrast and another boost of color against your light-colored sofa and carpet. Whatever you do, enjoy!

  4. Thanks Susan, I never thought of that, I had thought of doing only the top and leaving the legs dark, but that's another option. hmmmm....
