Waffles for breakfast



Fresh, hot, crispy waffles for breakfast.
A new experience for us all.

with soy milk in place of regular milk.
Next time I might halve the recipe, I made 5 waffles today
and had plenty of batter leftover.


Banana is a fruit I normally have to avoid, but I broke my diet
just this once to celebrate our first waffles.
So I made sure I ate those few slices ver-r-ry slowly to savour it all,
the crispy waffles, soft inside, the banana, and the maple syrup.
Yum!

    We make waffle ice cream sandwiches...
    Well...I don't make them!
    But....I do enjoy them!
    Must be a Canadian thing!
