Today's project:
finish decorating for Christmas
tidy up after the chaos of decorating,
and add twinkle lights!
Of course, the tree had lights from the start
when we put it up on Sunday.
The dresser got a sprinkling of lights today, too.
Yesterday I bought lights and a bow for our fence.
And today Laura and I hung them.
Turns out there was exactly the length I wanted!
Seeing the lights twinkling is making me
happier than perhaps it should?
Because I am grown-up, after all ...!
But there's just something in us that loves light,
isn't there?
The people walking in darkness
have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
a light has dawned ...
3 ...For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end.
have seen a great light;
on those living in the land of deep darkness
a light has dawned ...
3 ...For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end.
- Isaiah 9:2,6-7

All of your lights are so pretty, and you did really well getting just the right length for your outside lights! xx
Oh I love lights... we have some colourful ones inside and they make me very, very happy.
Your fence looks wonderful.
