Well the second half of July has rushed by!
Here's what I've been busy doing:
Our school has a band camp coming up, and I've been doing all the paperwork
...
Our church has an outreach in September - a French Cooking Night - and I've been designing the invitations (shown above), which I made with some church friends and making my first ever powerpoint presentation for advertising (both much more fun than the band paperwork!)
...
I've started walking again, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6.00am (brr!) with my friends, with 100% attendance until this morning when I just had to crash back into bed with exhaustion rather than walk.
...
I've been trying to provide more healthy lunchboxes, snacks and dinners for my family, and incorporate more exercise and active times into our life.
...
I've been planning a big rearrangement of furniture and de-cluttering in our dining area
(more on that in another post)
...
I've been getting back into bible study leading, piano and recorder teaching.
...
I'm trying to finish the wool crochet rug in time to give it to Wrap With Love this Friday. This photo was taken a few weeks ago and I've progressed a lot since then, and been back to the wool shop again for more yarn!
Now that I look at the list in black and white I can see why I'm feeling a bit burnt out!
I'm hoping that after this week things will calm down a lot! The school and church work are not continuous, just busy at certain times of the year (thank goodness!)
