This peaceful scene (photo taken last July) shows where the crime took place. The crowbar was thrown into the lavender before they exited out the gate. The window where they broke in is just to the left, out of the photo.
This morning I read this to the girls:
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21My prayer is that my girls and I will learn to put our treasure more in heaven, and the things of God, and less in our possessions and comfort.
