Today is a good day.
The weather is perfect - brilliant sunshine and mild enough to open the doors in the middle of the day.
Our house is filled with flowers. The flowers above were from my mother-in-law's garden.

A miniature vase with blossoms, found by Laura on the ground walking into school today.
I am feeling good (yesterday I was suffering the after-effects of a week of "birthday-eating").
Doris Day is singing from the stereo and a strawberry shortcake is in the oven, for afternoon tea when the girls come home from school.
Earlier Steve helped me plan out a new vegetable plot and he started to dig it up. Then we enjoyed a lunch on the verandah of bok choy, onion and ginger stir fry with bok choy fresh from the garden.
Life on earth doesn't get much better than this.
