Old photographs

I was looking through some old family photos recently
and found these photos of my great-great-aunt Beatrice.
I don't know much about Beatrice,
except that she was a nurse's aide in WW1
married in 1919, was widowed, and married again in 1937.
She lived from 1882-1977 - a good long life.

But I do know that I love these old photos.
The high lace collar, the daisies, and the nursing uniforms,
and the handwritten greeting by Beatrice.

All of which leave me to imagine what her life was like ...

Your aunt was a beautiful lady, and I am sure that she must have been a beautiful woman to have done such hard work and to have gone through such tragedy. It is lovely to have these old photos to look back on isn't it. xx

They are wonderful photos. Wouldn't it be nice to know just a little more about who she was and what she loved.

Thank you for sharing a card game suggestion with me. We're looking forward to giving casino a go. T
