As if it were not enough
to celebrate
Christmas,
New Years,
Emily's birthday,
& our anniversary
in the last 3 weeks ...
Laura decreed that today
we were to celebrate
Lumpy's 5th Birthday.
Lumpy received a nice collection of gifts,
which were carefully selected by her young mother
to suit a heffalump
who is shortly starting school,
while also coincidentally being of interest to
a 14-year-old girl.
Meanwhile, I managed to send off
two birthday cards to some family members
who will actually be able to
open and read their cards themselves.
I'm pleased to say that a whole 15 days into the year

I'm not sure which made me chuckle most, the fact that lumpy is having a birthday party with gifts, or the fact that you have managed 15 days on the everyone gets a card plan! Both are great of course. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUMPY!!! xx
Happy Birthday, Lumpy! We celebrated Jinjersnap's birthday on the 8th. She was two and received a collection of red items since that is her favorite color. :)
You're doing better than I am already on birthday cards!
