A lovely day

It is a lovely sunny day here, although it might cloud over later ...

I love to sit on our old wooden bench by the lavender
and the bees love it here too.

I am happy that the coriander I bought a few weeks ago at our local growers' market is still alive, it was delicious as a garnish on our chicken lasagne last night

In the front garden our grevillea is covered with red blooms, while I photographed this I heard a little cheeping sound ...
... a Rainbow Lorikeet had come to visit, attracted by some sweet flowers. We don't get lorikeets much in our garden, when I was growing up we occasionally had 70 or more twittering and fluttering on our back deck if we left out food for them.
